Next step, and Speaking quality.

Lets see, from the last post I did. I am now going to be in Komvux (adult education) I am there to learn more Swedish. I will be learning elementary school level which is more in depth than what SFI was. Then i will be learning high school level Swedish. I am doing this so that I will be able to talk easier and with out to much of an issue. I am still trying to read books with an age range 9-12 years old. For some one that has only lived in Sweden for 1 year and 3-4 months, that is really good. I have only been speaking somewhat fluent for 8 months, I am doing really well, from everyone that I have talked to. They are surprised at how well I speak. They think that I am Swedish when they start to talk to me because I look Swedish, but after I start talking they ask were do I come from and how long have I been in Sweden. Then they are really surprised because I am talking to them in just Swedish.

SFI and After

I am finally finished with SFI (Swedish for immigrants). I took my last test today and passed. I am now going to start Komvux (elementary Swedish to high-school level [helps if you want to take classes at the university]) That starts 6th of September. So now I am on vacation again, but this time I have Christian home with me for a week. :) I am so happy that I am finished with SFI. So after I finish this I am drinking my 12 year old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey (that Christian bought me for my birthday).

Life as it is now!!

Sorry that I have not up dated the blog in a long time. I have been busy studying Swedish and trying to find a job. Good new I am one test away from getting out of SFI, you might ask why that is well. Let me put it this way I am bored stiff. I know that I still do not know every word in Swedish, but that will come with time and practice. Which is what Christian and I have been doing at home. I have been sending out my resume and my personal letter to companies but right now considering it is summer no one is really hiring so I am crossing my fingers that I will have a job in the fall. Everything is great with Christian and I. We are extremely happy, though we have those days every couple has, and we still love each other.
Christian has been working on his car. He has changed the muffler, the shifter thingy, breaks, etc..... not all a once but since I last updated the blog. Picture of the old and new Mufflers.

Chenille is loving it over here. The weather is great at times. We take her out for long walks. When she is with either Christian and me or just Christian, she walks with us with out the leash for part of it. She will go forward to look around and then come back to us, and she listens to us. She also likes the balcony, that we have.Chenille up on the chair on the balcony sunning.

Hej everyone sorry for not posting in a while. I have been busy studying Swedish. Chenille got over here perfectly fine in October. She is doing good. I am enjoying life over here though I can't wait for the snow to go away... The snow is so high that it is up to my butt or waist... I am now able to read Swedish books and talk almost fluent.. I might have a job soon, at least I hope for a job soon... Will be happy when I can contribute to Christian and I. If there are any questions post them and I will respond.
